Rudrabhishek is a puja offered to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva represents the aspect of the Supreme Being and is considered to be the destroyer of evil and sorrow. The Lord Shiva is both static and dynamic and is a creator and destroyer. He is the source of fertility in all living beings. He has gentle as well as fierce forms. He protects devotees from evil forces. Lord Shiva is the third member of the Hindu Trinity, the other two being Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. Rudraabhishek puja is done for prosperity, fulfilment of desires, removal of negativities, purify the negative karma & give protection in life.
